Quote freight for the exact order

Freight depends on product dimensions, weight, quantity, origin, destination, service level, and site access. Confirm whether the quote includes liftgate service, appointment delivery, limited-access service, or inside delivery.

Prepare the receiving location

Verify truck access, unloading equipment, receiving hours, contact information, storage space, and the path from the delivery point to the installation area. Do not assume a driver can unload or move equipment beyond the stated service.

Inspect before signing

Count packages, inspect visible surfaces, photograph packaging and damage, note exceptions on the delivery record, and follow the carrier and seller’s current claim instructions. Keep packaging until the shipment and product configuration are verified.

Coordinate installation timing

Protect equipment from weather, construction traffic, and unauthorized access. Confirm anchors, foundations, wall openings, trim, electrical work, networking, and postal coordination before scheduling final installation.
